GFL is making progress with collections after Hurricane Beryl. Starting the week of July 22, GFL will resume collection of yard waste and recycling. Cinco 5 assures its residents that GFL is working on a large volume of heavy garbage and trying to get back to normal. You can help GFL provide better collections by following weight requirements for household garbage and properly bundling your branches and debris:
- Household garbage must be placed in either containers or bags not exceeding 40 gallons capacity or 40 pounds in total weight.
- Tree branches and items such as fence posts must be tied in bundles in lengths no greater than 4 feet and not weighing more than 40 pounds per bundle.
